4/13/07: CDC Recommends New Treatments for Gonorrhea  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention changed the recommendations for treating gonorrhea, a common sexually transmitted disease, because the bacterial infection has become increasingly resistant to the antibiotics currently used to treat it. Following the new CDC guidelines, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Denver Public Health Department now recommend that gonorrhea be treated with ceftriaxone.  Read more...

4/13/07: ABSTINENCE-ONLY UNTIL MARRIAGE FUNDING IS INEFFECTIVE, STUDY FINDS Mathematica Policy Research, Inc. released the Final Report on their study, Impacts of Four Title V, Section 510 Abstinence Education Programs.
