Conference Focus
Raising the Bar 2009
focused on increasing awareness of those in our field about the
intersection of poverty, education, racism, and reproductive health
outcomes and increasing the capacity of participants to become
better advocates and program providers using this framework.
In addition to
this, we continued our efforts to emphasize the importance of
supporting research-based programs and policies and comprehensive
opportunities that we know greatly contribute to young people
delaying pregnancy and provide young families a promising future.
