Youth Action Day 2010

COAPPP is looking for motivated youth to get involved and lobby their state legislators about the importance of addressing the sexual health of adolescents and support for young families.

Who?

Teens who want to address the issues of teen pregnancy & STI prevention.

Teens who want to see supportive policies for young families.

Teens who want to make their voices heard.

Teens who want to be a part of the change.

Get Involved!

Youth Action Day is on April 14, 2010, and COAPPP is bringing enthusiastic
teens to the State Capitol to:
View the legislative process in action
Speak to their legislators about the importance of addressing teen

pregnancy & STI prevention and supporting young families.
Learn about how you and your community can make a difference.
Meet other concerned youth who care about making a change.

The event is free and scholarships are available for travel expenses to
                                          Denver.

Represent Your Community!

but also connect with other groups of youth working to support the sexual
health of adolescents and young families.  At Youth Action Day you can:
Let other groups know about your organization and your
                            community
Talk about the victories and challenges in your community
Share resources & ideas of how to impact change in each others

     communities

Can’t make it on April 14 or you want to do more?
Contact your legislators by phone, letter, or email expressing the importance
of effective teen pregnancy & STI prevention efforts, and policies that
         support pregnant & parenting teens.
